YZY Crashes, BNB Hits New ATH, Whale Swaps 400 BTC For ETH

YZY MONEY, a token linked with rapper Kanye West (aka Ye), briefly hit a $3 billion market cap before crashing, OKB surged 50% after a token burn, and BNB climbed 3% to set a new all-time high at $881 before easing to $859.

Meanwhile, an ancient whale shifted 400 BTC into Ethereum, with BTC hovering near $113 and ETH at $4,299 as of 4:41 a.m. EST.

The biggest losers on an upbeat day were Mantle (MNT), Lido (LDO), and SPX6900 (SPX), recording 6.2%, 3%, and 3% drops, respectively.

Kanye West-Linked YZY MONEY Token Crashes Post-Launch

YZY MONEY became a sensation on the Solana blockchain after it quickly soared to a $3 billion market capitalization, only to crash soon after. Within hours, YZY lost over 55% of its value as large investors sold off.

After the drop to a market capitalization of around $150 million, one trader lost $500,000.

There’s speculation on social media over possible insider manipulation, with reports of big holders cashing out at the top. Traders have also been hit by a lack of transparency, which shook investor confidence, causing many to sell.

YZY on the 15-minute chart suggests a possible recovery, with support around $1.0 holding firm after the crash. If Kanye West confirms his involvement, the excitement could reignite, but many on social media believe his X account may have been hacked to promote the token.

With the 50-period moving average just below the price of YZY, and the RSI just moving within the equilibrium level, any movement up could renew interest for the bulls.

OKB Leads Gainers With A 50% Surge

The crypto market has surged a fraction of a percent to reach a market capitalization of $3.94 trillion. 

OKB (OKB) led gainers among major cryptos on CoinMarketCap after soaring 50% in the last 24 hours to trade at $189.2. Other top gainers include Morpho (MORPHO), Conflux (CFX), and Tezos (XTZ), surging 13%, 6.5%, and 6%, respectively.

The OKB surge came after the team burned 65 million tokens to reduce supply to just 21 million, while also launching the X Layer blockchain. That increased scarcity and utility, helping to attract more investors.

The surge has pushed OKB to break above multiple Fibonacci levels, with a recent rejection near $239 suggesting short-term resistance, while the overall trend remains strongly bullish.

Meanwhile, the 50-day Simple Moving Average (SMA) and 200-day SMA on the 4-hour chart are sloping upward, confirming momentum, but the RSI at 76.76 signals overbought conditions that could trigger a pullback.

If buyers sustain momentum, the price could retest $239 and potentially aim for $360, while support lies around $165 and $142 if a correction occurs.

Binance Token BNB Hits A New ATH

BNB added 3% to its value and hit a new all-time high, pushing its market cap to $118.6 billion.

The BNB price on the 3-day timeframe shows a strong move within a rising channel pattern. According to the BNB/USD analysis, the Binance token is getting ready for another leg up.

With the price now trading above both the SMAs, bulls are confident of a move higher. Meanwhile, the RSI is also gaining momentum, currently at 71 as it climbs up.

If the technicals play out, BNB is heading for yet another ATH over $1,000.

Whale Swaps 400 BTC For Ethereum In Major Leveraged Move

A significant market move saw a Bitcoin whale swap 400 BTC into Ethereum via Hyperliquid. The whale then opened long positions totaling 68,130 ETH ($295 million) across four different wallets, using 3X and 10X leverage.

Ethereum has recently outperformed Bitcoin, which has caught the attention of large investors. And the move by the whale underscores a broader shift, as some long-term BTC holders are now moving into Ethereum, driven by growing momentum.

Ethereum dropped 9% in the last week, despite gaining a fraction of a percentage in the previous 24 hours, which has been triggered by heavy selling by ETF (exchange-traded fund) giants BlackRock, Fidelity, and GrayScale.

In total, Ethereum ETFs recorded over $240 million in outflows on August 20, according to Coinglass data.

The ETH price chart shows a strong uptrend since April, with the price recently pulling back after touching resistance near $4,772, now consolidating above the key Fibonacci level at $3,974.

The 50-day SMA has crossed well above the 200-day SMA, confirming bullish momentum, while the RSI at 57.28 suggests neutral strength with room for further upside. If the price of ETH holds above $4,000 support, a retest of $4,700–$4,800 is likely.

Meanwhile, the BTC price has been moving within a rising channel pattern but recently broke below the lower boundary of the pattern, showing weakening momentum as the price now tests support near $112,000.

The 50-day SMA remains above the 200-day SMA, signaling longer-term bullish sentiments. The RSI at 43.13 indicates bearish pressure and a lack of strong buying strength.

If the price of Bitcoin fails to reclaim the $116,000 resistance, it could drift toward $105,000 support, while a rebound above $118,000 may reopen the path to $124,000.

Adding to Bitcoin’s narrative, Hong Kong-based Ming Shing Group Holdings agreed to acquire 4,250 BTC worth nearly $483 million to boost the digital assets in its corporate treasury.
