The XRP price soared 27% in the last 24 hours to trade at $1.14 as of 9 a.m. EST on a 28% pump in trading volume to $18 billion.
The spike in the XRP price comes after indications Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse may have met with president-elect Donald Trump’s transition team.
Garlinghouse liked a Zach Rector post on X, seemingly indicating that there had been a meeting with Trump or his team.
