Aptos (APT) is among the top crypto gainers today, building on the gains made beginning Wednesday, January 18, after the APT price broke past a consolidation zone between $6.0 and $9.0.

At the time of writing, APT was trading at $12.6 after gaining over 50% in the last 24 hours.

APT is trading with a bullish bias as buyers eye higher gains. An increase in buying pressure from the current level would see Aptos record higher prices. The positive trajectory is bolstered by solid support downward due to the 50-day SMA at $5.0. The MACD indicator is also moving on the positive side above the zero line, signifying buyers were in control of the Aptos market.

On the downside, the RSI suggested that the price may soon turn down from the current levels. if this happens, a drop toward $10 and the 50-SMA would be the next possible move.

Optimism (OP)

Optimism (OP) is another top crypto gainer today after surging by over 30% in the last 24 hours. The positive movement of OP price started when the new year began, with Optimism bulls taking control of the market and flipping multiple resistance areas to support before using them to target higher prices.

After breaking the resistance at $1.9 in Friday’s trading session, OP price was trading at $2.32 at the time of writing, with bulls building on Friday’s gains when the price reached a daily close of $2.14.

The price has strong support downward offered by the 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day SMAs just below the $1.1 level. These areas provide robust support that would absorb any selling pressure that may ensue in the near term.

However, the odds favor the bulls as seen supported by the upward movements of the RSI and MACD indicators, suggesting that there was still more room for the upside for Optimism crypto.
