Leading Beverage manufacturer Coca-Cola has launched a generative NFTs collection after partnering with Polygon. Confirming the development, Polygon tweeted that the collection emanated to celebrate the 2022 International Friendship day worldwide.
Fans and loyal customers of the brand got the collection via airdrop. According to the announcement, the airdrop is an exclusive opportunity for fans who ventured with Coca-Cola through its Journey in the Metaverse. Also, the selected beneficiaries are current holders of other Coca-Cola collections.
As indicated, the new collection came with a unique feature of “share-to-reveal.” This implies that a piece from this collection will be revealed when beneficiaries share it with their friends. Accordingly, the beneficiaries are entitled to numerous incentives. A significant incentive from this package includes exclusive access to Coke studio-powered experiences and gaming events. Also, beneficiaries are entitled to future collections by the brand on early access.
Meanwhile, as the collection designer, Coca-Cola unveiled the popular 3D avatar designing firm, Tafi. The firm is renowned for its expertise in 3D arts and innovations. Tafi has enjoyed collaborating with notable brands like Samsung, Champion, Warner Bros, and Louis Moinet, among many others.
Coca-Cola divulged its willingness to continue its journey in the metaverse for the rest of the year. The firm also revealed its intention to celebrate the upcoming Halloween festival and International Singles Day in October and November, respectively. The brand illustrated its preparedness to lunch other exclusive collections in an attempt to garner more experience in the industry.
The firm added that it would launch more collections to celebrate certain occasions. Coca-Cola believes such trends will strengthen its virtual ecosystem and increase its popularity among virtual asset enthusiasts.
Coca-Cola has emerged as a prominent figure in the NFT industry. Since 2021, the brand has launched more than 4,000 digital assets. Then, the firm unveiled its first collection via a loot box auction in 2021 to celebrate International friendship day. Furthermore, the brand launched another exclusive collection to commemorate International Burger Day. Another collection followed during the International Pride day after Coca-Cola collaborated with Fashion outfits, LGBTQIA, and other popular brands.
Polygon is a prominent figure in the push for the global adoption of blockchain technology. Recently, Polygon sponsored the Web3bridge Cohort VII program in Africa. The firm intends to push the popularity of blockchain in the region. With the program, Web3bridge and Polygon trained young Africans to become experts in designing blockchain solutions.
