TRON Founder and BitTorrent CEO Justin has won a collection of NFTs as the highest bidder in a sale by renowned auction house Sotheby’s. Digital artwork by leading NFT artist Pak was purchased by Sun in “The Fungible Collection” auction.
During the three-day event, three NFT series created by the famous artist Pak were auctioned. The first series comprised open “cubes,” an unlimited number of which could be purchased at a fixed price. The second series featured two special NFT artworks, “The Switch” and “The Pixels.” In the final series, 100 NFTs were sold off as additional rewards to the top 100 buyers of cubes.

In his capacity as founder of the JUST NFT Fund, Justin Sun bid for and won a set of artworks by Pak. The event marked the first time that Sotheby’s had conducted an NFT auction of digital artwork. The auction house, founded in Britain in 1744, is famed for brokering sales of fine and decorative art, jewelry, real estate, and collectibles.
The JUST NFT Fund has now acquired works by a number of world-class artists including Picasso, Andy Warhol, Beeple, and Pak. Its mission is to purchase a vast and diverse collection of digital works by top artists, whose oeuvre will be entered into the JUST NFT Fund.
