The LayerZero price surged 27% in the last 24 hours to trade at $3.45 as of 04:26 a.m. EST on trading volume that skyrocketed 95% to $455 million.
LayerZero is a blockchain interoperability protocol that aims to provide a seamless way for different blockchains to communicate with each other.
LayerZero Price To Continue Its Rally over The $3.6 Resistance
After its launch, the LayerZero price retraced from the $3.60 resistance level to the $2.52 support zone, according to data from GeckoTerminal. However, ZRO bulls managed to push the token back up from the $2.52 support level to the $3.60 resistance level, forming a bullish rounding bottom pattern.
The ZRO price is trading well above both the 50-day and 200-day Simple Moving Averages (SMAs), confirming a sustained bullish stance. The bulls are now aiming to use the $2.78 and $3.00 levels as primary support zones.
Moreover, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) still trades within the overbought region, currently at 67, which shows that the token is overbought, but with the RSI dropping down.
The retracing RSI could be an indication that sellers are beginning to book profits, which could push the price slightly down to the $3.03 support level, which coincides with the 50-day SMA.
However, if the bulls capitalize on the rounding bottom pattern, the price of LayerZero could soar, with the bulls targeting $4.65.
