Donald Trump will give a speech at Bitcoin 2024 this month as a poll shows his new pro-crypto stance could win votes.
The former U.S. President will be speaking at 2:00 p.m. CT on the last day of the Bitcoin conference, which will run from July 25-27.
Donald Trump Could Win More Votes As He Embraces Crypto
Trump’s appearance at one of the largest Bitcoin conferences is part of his recent embrace of the digital asset sector. With crypto becoming a focus in the political arena, his openness to digital assets could earn him more votes among Republicans as he attempts to return to the White House, according to a poll released on July 10.

Data compiled by Echelon Insights for a Paradigm-sponsored poll suggests that 13% of the Republicans who were not going to vote for Trump felt his pro-crypto stance has placed him in a more positive light. Around 60% of the survey’s participants also feel that Congress needs to establish clear regulations for crypto businesses.
“Republicans understand the appeal of crypto and support congressional action to establish clear and predictable rules,” Paradigm’s chief legal officer Katie Biber and Alex Grieve, the company’s government affairs lead, wrote in an analysis of the data.
Crypto Leaders Meet With Biden’s Team
In a separate development, several crypto lawmakers and industry heavyweights gathered at a round table discussion with an advisor to President Joe Biden on July 10.
Hosted by Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif, the objective of the meeting was to have an open dialogue with the Biden administration. Billionaire Mark Cuban also attended the event, together with Biden’s senior adviser Anita Dunn, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y. and Rep. Joe Neguse, D-Colo.
