A Mutual Mission of Interoperability and an Open Metaverse with Cross-Platform Experiences and Portability of Assets is Being Advanced by Gala Games and Upland

Gala, a pioneer in Web3 gaming and entertainment, now declares a partnership with Uplandme, Inc. Upland’s effort to create an open economy will continue with VOX, a subsidiary of Gala Games, as its first Ethereum partner in the platform’s Ethereum interoperability gateway.

The largest city-building and property-trading metaverse platform, Upland encourages people to start their own metaverse businesses. Collectible ERC-721 NFTs will be integrated into the Upland ecosystem and open economy through the relationship with VOX using Upland’s NFT gateway.

Gala-partnership Upland’s is laying the groundwork for their shared goal of creating an open metaverse with asset interoperability. Web3’s core principle is the concept of true ownership in the digital era. The VOX and Upland ecosystems, as well as real ownership, are strengthened by enabling users to move their assets between platforms.

The VOXverse, a future metaverse developed in collaboration by Gala Games and SIMS founder Will Wright, will house the headquarters of Upland. With a metaverse building, shops, and developer studios leading to experiences and games, VOX will also be present in Upland.

Uplanders welcome the VOX Community with a variety of enjoyable activities, such as competitive city openings, treasure hunts, and car racing (Alpha), as well as cooperative activities like the joint construction of sports stadiums with exciting Upland partners like FC Porto or the NFLPA, and by creating nodes and neighborhoods where like-minded people work toward common goals. Fans will be able to play VOX Odyssey, a text-based choose-your-own-adventure game, on the Upland Discord while the VOXverse is still being developed. Users of VOX Odyssey can go on quests and adventures with their VOX while gathering materials. Storylines that are unique to Upland will be a part of the VOX-Upland collaboration and will be made public at launch.
