Amazon, the world’s largest e-commerce behemoth, is reportedly preparing to launch its highly anticipated non-fungible token marketplace before the end of this month. The e-commerce giant was scheduled to launch the new NFT marketplace sometime in April but was supposedly delayed due to technical glitches.

In recent weeks, rumors have been swirling that Amazon is planning to release its own non-fungible token marketplace. Even though Amazon has not yet commented on the reports, people familiar with the matter have projected that the most-awaited NFT marketplace will launch this month.

Established in July 1994, Amazon is an American multinational technology company focusing on e-commerce, cloud computing, online advertising, digital streaming, and artificial intelligence. Amazon is one of the largest e-commerce globally, featuring more than 197 million active monthly users.

The e-commerce behemoth was reportedly scheduled to launch its non-fungible token market platform in 2022. Earlier this year, Crypto news site Blockworks first touted the same idea, citing anonymous sources. Since then, more crypto news websites, including “The Big Whale,” have made the same guess.
