Bitcoin price is consolidating below the USD 44,500 resistance zone. It is currently (04:21 UTC) showing bearish signs near USD 43,600 and is almost unchanged in a day.
Similarly, most major altcoins are stuck below key hurdles. ETH is down over 1% and it must clear the USD 3,200 resistance for a fresh increase. XRP is still near USD 0.80, while ADA is facing resistance near the USD 1.12 level.

Bitcoin price
After a failed attempt above USD 44,500, bitcoin price corrected lower. BTC declined below the USD 44,200 support level. However, it is still above the USD 43,500 level. The next key support is near the USD 43,200 level, below which the price might gain bearish momentum. In this case, the price might decline towards the USD 42,500 level.
On the upside, an initial resistance is near USD 44,400. The next resistance is still near the USD 44,500 level, above which the bulls might attempt a move above USD 45,000.
Ethereum price
Ethereum price settled below the USD 3,100 level as it was struggling to gain momentum above USD 3,150. The next major support is near USD 3,050, below which the price could revisit USD 3,000.
The next key resistance is near the USD 3,200 zone, above which the price may perhaps test USD 3,250.
ADA, BNB, SOL, DOGE, and XRP price
Cardano (ADA) struggled to clear the USD 1.12 resistance zone. It is now moving lower below the USD 1.10 level. The first major support is near the USD 1.05 level, below which the price might test USD 1.02.
BNB is trimming gains and moving towards the USD 420 level. On the upside, it is facing resistance near the USD 442 level. The main resistance for a larger increase is still near USD 450.
Solana (SOL) is consolidating gains below the USD 100 level. To continue higher, the price must clear the USD 105 level. The next key resistance could be near USD 112, above which the price could test USD 120.
DOGE is moving lower from the USD 0.155 resistance. On the downside, the USD 0.142 level is a key support. If there is an upside break, the price might rise towards the USD 0.165 level.
XRP price made another attempt to clear the USD 0.850 resistance but failed and moved to USD 0.82. If there is a successful close above USD 0.850, the price could start a stronger upward move.
Other altcoins market today
Many smaller altcoins are trimming their gains also. A few of them are up at least 3%, including ATOM, NEXO, FIL, RUNE, NEO, and DASH. Out of these, DASH rallied 9% and surpassed the 115 level, however, it is also now correcting lower. Meanwhile, NEO is also moving lower, but is still up 5% and is trading near USD 24.50.
Overall, bitcoin price is struggling to clear the USD 44,500 and USD 45,000 resistance levels. If BTC continues to struggle, there might be a bearish reaction below USD 43,500 and USD 43,200.
