- Shiba Inu has confirmed an update to its developer hub to consolidate fragmented resources across chat channels, etc.

SHIB and other official tokens within the Shiba Inu ecosystem have gotten a major boost as reports confirm an update of the main network documentation portal. While this underscores the relentless effort to provide real utility to the tokens, this also marks a very important step towards “developer-centric infrastructure.”
According to the details, the developer hub was built on the Mintlify framework with the main reason of consolidating previously fragmented resources across chat channels, GitHub repositories, and forums.
This update also implies that developers can now access a “step-by-step guide for running validator nodes, bridging assets between networks, and working with Shibarium.” Above all, it also includes the provision of full integration instructions for ShibaSwap V1 and V2.
In the post shared by the official Shabrium X handle, it was highlighted that the latest update would make it easier for developers to access advanced tools, including SDKs for DeFi applications. Not just that. Developers could also access “libraries such as ElderJS and Elder-Wrap, Hardhat plugin for the Shib Alpha Layer,” etc.
The site has been designed to support a live status page as well as a curated showcase of community projects.
The Shiba Alpha Layer
In a separate post, the marketing lead of Shiba Inu, Lucie, detailed the introduction of Shiba Alpha Layer and what it means to the ecosystem.
Firstly, Lucie described this as a modular roll-up framework that facilitates the seamless deployment of execution environments called RollApps. According to Lucie, these are also independent operational chains that ensure that their activities are settled on Shibarium for finality and security. Interestingly, it could have a significant impact on ecosystem tokens.
The Alpha Layer introduction implies that TREAT would become very crucial in the building of new chains on the Shibarium. Also, the role of BONE as a unified gas would be significantly strengthened for all execution layers. For SHIB, it would be embedded in a working system where tokens and applications across coordinated layers move value.
As explained in our earlier blog post, Alpha Layer provides a high transaction speed, which complements Shibarium’s low transaction fees and scalability.
At the time of writing, SHIB was trading at $0.00001411 after surging by 3% in the last 24 hours. However, its daily trading volume remains 26% down with $238 million changing hands.
Per on-chain data, whale activities are also skyrocketing as just 46 whale wallets now control 120 trillion SHIB. As discussed earlier, this is more than 12% of the token’s total supply.
According to our recent analysis, SHIB could record an explosive surge to double its value in the near term. As also indicated in our previous report, this predicted price could be influenced by the rising burn rate, which spiked by 92000% recently.
