Key Features of the GM NFT Upgrade System
The VeBetterDAO community can now access the exciting new feature: higher-tier GM NFTs. While users won’t see all tiers available immediately, the platform plans to unlock additional levels gradually over time. This approach is designed to provide users with ongoing incentives, encouraging them to remain actively engaged with the community.
One of the most notable advantages for holders of X-Node and Economic Nodes is the ability to claim a free upgrade. If you own a VeChain Node or have delegated one, you have the opportunity to elevate your GM NFT to the highest tier available that aligns with your Node’s level completely free of charge. This initiative serves to enhance the value of Node ownership while promoting participation within the ecosystem.
As per the report, the relationship between nodes and GM NFTs has been designed to be inherently dynamic. Whenever a user upgrades their X/Economic Node, the corresponding GM NFT’s tier will automatically be upgraded to reflect this change. The direct correlation ensures that the value and status of GM NFTs are always aligned with the user’s Node. Conversely, if an Economic Node experiences a downgrade, keeping in mind that X Nodes cannot be downgraded, the associated GM NFT will adjust accordingly.
Even users without Nodes will have the opportunity to enjoy the upgrades through the donation of B3TR tokens to the Treasury. This enables users to facilitate direct upgrades to their GM NFTs and links the donated B3TR tokens to their NFTs, which helps to reduce the costs of future upgrades.
Introducing Node Delegation
VeBetterDAO has introduced a novel feature: Node Delegation. Node delegation will allow node owners to share their capabilities with a second delegated address, fostering greater participation within the community. For context, a delegator is a node that indirectly participates in a network’s consensus process without running as a full node.
The delegation process prioritizes the security of node ownership. Delegators maintain full control over their rights, while delegates cannot transfer, sell, or claim rewards associated with the delegated Node outside of the VeBetterDAO framework. Furthermore, if an existing attachment between a Node and a GM NFT is modified through delegation, the connection is automatically severed to ensure a secure experience.
Specific rules govern the relationship between nodes, GM NFTs, and delegation. For instance, GM NFT nodes can only be managed by their owners or delegated users, while any transfer of node ownership will result in an automatic reset of the GM NFT’s level. With the new GM NFT Upgrade feature, user engagement within the VeBetterDAO ecosystem is poised to increase significantly. Over the last seven days, the B3TR token has surged more than 75%. In the last 24 hours, it has surged 46% to reach a $0.07077 price.
