The XRP price surged 18% in the last 24 hours to trade at $1.799 as of 09:35 p.m. EST on trading volume that skyrocketed 146% to $18 billion.

XRP Price Aims For A Continued Surge

The XRP price has been on a continued surge since the beginning of November, as the bulls capitalized on the $0.50 support to push it up through a parabolic surge, breaching the $1.1 support zone.

According to data from GeckoTerminal, the XRP price bulls have eventually breached the $1.4 consolidation zone, overcoming the $1.65 psychological resistance level.

XRP price has still maintained its surge above both the 50-day and 200-day Simple Moving Averages (SMAs), which further supports the upward trajectory.

Meanwhile, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is currently at 77, in the overbought zone, which suggests the asset may be overextended in the short term. This doesn’t necessarily mean an immediate reversal but signals caution for potential pullbacks or consolidation after the recent sharp rally.

The continued upward trend is further supported by the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD), with the blue MACD line crossing over the orange signal line, an indication of a bullish crossover.

XRP Price Prediction

According to the XRPUSD chart analysis on the 4-hour timeframe, the XRP price is currently on a sustained bullish trend, moving in a trend similar to climbing a mountain. The current surge, if it continues, could surge even higher, as the bulls target $2.0.

However, with the RSI now overvalued, the bears could take charge of the price, exerting the pressure towards a correction that could force the price of XRP to the next possible support zone at $1.11.

As the XRP price surges, investors are also rushing to buy the newly launched meme coin Catslap (SLAP), which aims to dethrone top cat-themed token Popcat.
